Frequently Asked Questions

Kinwell is a new Primary Care clinic in your community. In the coming years, we will open clinics across Washington state, from Poulsbo to Pasco.

What is Primary Care?
As the name implies, Primary Care is a patient’s best resource to maintain their best health. The clinicians of Kinwell Medical Group can treat everyday issues like sprained ankles and belly aches. They also manage illnesses like high blood pressure, depression, and diabetes.

What is Kinwell’s approach to Primary Care?
Healthcare is more than treating patients when they are sick. It’s also about keeping them healthy over the long term. Kinwell clinicians consider the big picture of patient health—diet, exercise, and healthy habits—even as they diligently treat everyday concerns.

This is a team approach in which doctors, nurses, medical assistants, and behavioral health clinicians are part of an ongoing conversation with each patient. This conversation requires more than one or two appointments each year, and can take place in person, online, and over the phone. Kinwell makes it easy to schedule the kind of appointment you need, when you need it.

Partners in Care.
Kinwell looks forward to working with local colleagues to improve community resources and ensure the best care for each patient. When needed, Kinwell will refer patients to local specialists and manage follow-up treatment. We use the Epic/MyChart records system and can easily share patient information with specialists while ensuring privacy.

Where are Kinwell clinics located and when will they open?
Our first clinics have opened in Wenatchee and Yakima. In 2022, new clinics will open in Bellingham, Lynnwood, Mill Creek, Renton, Seattle, and Pasco. View the latest on our new clinics.

How can I become a Kinwell patient?
